What is Supastro?+
Supastro is Vedic Super Intelligence (SI) for Vedic astrology (Jyotish). It builds your full birth chart — kundli — from your exact birth date, time and place, then answers questions about your life against that specific chart. It is not a Sun-sign horoscope: two people born on the same day a few hours apart get materially different answers, because the ascendant, house positions and dasha periods differ. The calculation runs on NASA JPL ephemeris data. Oracle Chat is one immediate, evidence-grounded voice; the separate Council option adds three specialists, an independent verifier, and a Chief who preserves unresolved dissent in the final plan.
Is Supastro an AI astrology app?+
It is the step beyond one. Most AI astrology apps are a single chatbot generating prose from a chart summary. Supastro is Vedic Super Intelligence (SI): a whole system rather than a chatbot. Your kundli is computed first from NASA JPL ephemeris data: divisional charts from D1 to D60, the 337-point Ashtakavarga, Shadbala and nested Vimshottari dasha periods. Language models only explain that computed evidence; they never invent it. Oracle Chat answers instantly, ten agents handle timing, decisions, daily briefings and longer plans, and for major decisions the Council adds three specialist agents, an independent verifier and a Chief. Super Intelligence names what the whole system does together; it never claims certainty about the future.
What can you ask Supastro?+
Timing questions are what a birth chart can genuinely address, so those are Supastro's core: when a career change is supported, when a marriage window opens, when a difficult Saturn period eases, which months in the coming year favour a specific kind of risk. You can also ask about compatibility between two saved charts, which of your strengths are currently active versus dormant, and what a given transit means for you specifically. Questions are asked in plain language — you do not need to know astrological vocabulary to get a useful answer.
How does Supastro calculate a chart?+
Planetary positions come from NASA JPL ephemeris data rather than precomputed lookup tables, and sidereal positions use the Lahiri (Chitrapaksha) ayanamsa. From that base Supastro derives the full Shodasavarga divisional set from D1 to D60 and the higher vargas to D150, the complete 337-point Ashtakavarga bindu system, Shadbala planetary strength across all six sources, Vimshottari dasha nested five levels deep, and the eight Jaimini chara karakas. House positions are available in both Bhava Chalit and whole-sign form because the two schemes disagree and that disagreement changes the reading.
What does Supastro cost?+
Supastro is free to start and requires no card to generate your birth chart. There are 39 free instruments that run without a subscription, covering panchang, transits, nakshatra, dasha timeline, compatibility, muhurta and more. Paid plans extend depth and usage rather than unlocking withheld features — the calculation engine is the same one the free tier uses.
What will Supastro not do?+
A birth chart cannot deliver a medical diagnosis, a stock pick, a lottery number, or a certainty, and Supastro will say so rather than improvise. Where a birth time is unknown or approximate the ascendant is unreliable, and Supastro flags that instead of quietly guessing — it offers birth-time rectification as a separate step. It does not use fear as a sales mechanism: no curses, no doom framing, no paid remedies invented to resolve a problem it manufactured.
Where should you start?+
Generate your chart first — it takes about thirty seconds and needs only your birth date, time and place. From there the free instruments are the fastest way to see whether the calculations hold up against something you already know about yourself: the dasha timeline against your own history, the transit reading against your current month, or compatibility against a relationship you can already judge.
